Marelli USA, Inc. is now Magneti Marelli Powertrain
USA, Inc. This is a name change only and has no impact
on the organizational structure of the product family
of our company. "Powertrain" better identifies
with the products our division designs, develops, and
produces on a global basis, including our activities
in the USA Magneti Marelli is also expanding its activities
in North America for other divisions such as Cofap Suspension,
Automotive Lighting, Instrumentation, etc. This name
change will better identify our products to our customers
and help grow our core product's business.
Another
company, Magneti Marelli N.A., has been established
to develop strategic objectives for Magneti Marelli's
efforts in the North American market. This company will
help to coordinate the interdivisional marketing activities
of all Magneti Marelli divisions in North America.
